Frequently asked questions
How do I post my inclusions to you?
If you’ve ordered cremation ashes jewellery, you’ll receive a kit within 7 days—just follow the simple instructions included, and you’ll be all set.
If you’ve ordered jewellery with any other type of inclusion, including breastmilk, please send only 5ml of milk in a breastmilk bag, syringe, or similar container. Double bag it to avoid any leaks, and pop it in a padded envelope addressed as shown in your order confirmation email.
We handle every inclusion with the utmost care and love, so your precious keepsake is in safe hands.
Please wrap all other inclusions, hair, cord, flowers, test caps etc in a plastic bag and post to the same address on your order confirmation.
Do you accept returns?
We are unable to accept returns on your jewellery as these have been personalised with your inclusions. If you are unhappy with your jewellery please reach out to us and we will do our best to rectify the situation.
When will I get my order?
We will work quickly to post your order to you as soon as possible! Our turnaround time is 10-12 weeks. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification. Delivery times vary depending on your location but we aim to post all jewellery tracked 48 hour with Royal Mail.
Where is the jewellery made?
All our keepsake jewellery is handmade in the United Kingdom by myself.
How do you make keepsake jewellery?
Each piece of keepsake jewellery is carefully handcrafted. Your inclusions are then safely preserved and set into high grade non yellowing resin. The jewellery is then shaped, polished, and finished with love to create a beautiful, lasting keepsake you can wear every day.
What is keepsake jewellery?
Keepsake jewellery is a special, personalised piece of jewellery designed to hold and preserve meaningful memories. This can include items like breastmilk, cremation ashes, hair, social fabric, sand from your favourite beach, umbilical cord and even baby teeth. Each piece is made with care and love, creating a beautiful way to remember and celebrate someone or something special in your life. We can turn almost anything into a keepsake, please email us with any queries you have.
How do I know it’s my milk being used?
As a breastfeeding mum myself, I understand how important your breastmilk keepsake is. I’m very organised and handle each order carefully, keeping all milk separate to avoid any mix ups. You can be confident that only the milk you send is used, creating a truly unique and personal piece of jewellery.
Can I use frozen breastmilk?
Yes absolutely! It doesn’t matter how long your milk has been frozen for, it will be perfect for jewellery! We can also mix multiple milks together from different feeding journeys.
How can I customise my jewellery?
You can personalise your keepsake jewellery in lots of beautiful ways! Choose to add opal flakes, silver or gold leaf, crushed birthstones, or a subtle pearl shimmer to your keepsake stone. For cremation ashes, you can select the colour you’d like them set in—we can create your keepsake in any colour you love, making it truly unique to you.
Can I wear my jewellery everyday 24/7?
Yes! The best choice for everyday wear is solid silver or solid gold jewellery. We also offer gold-plated pieces, but over time the plating may fade, revealing the solid silver underneath. To keep your jewellery looking its best, we recommend removing it when using chemicals or submerging in hot water, like during baths, to protect your keepsake stone. Your stone is made using premium non yellowing, water resistant resin. It’s important to note it’s water resistant but not waterproof.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide however due to new laws and regulations I am unable to post to Europe at this time.
Will I need to pay any additional customs fees?
Please note that international orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs charges depending on your country’s regulations. These fees are set by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the recipient, so we recommend checking your country’s import conditions prior to ordering.
For customers in the USA, please be aware that recent changes in import regulations mean that customs charges must now be paid prior to dispatch. If applicable, we will contact all US customers by email to arrange payment of these fees before your jewellery is posted.
How much of my inclusion do I need to send?
For breastmilk jewellery, we only require 5ml of milk. Please don’t worry if you’re unable to send the full amount as we can often work with less. If you’re unsure, simply email us before posting and we’ll happily advise
For umbilical cord jewellery, please send a small section only, not the entire cord. Keep this wrapped separately from your milk, just in case of any leaks so it doesn’t get wet.
For cremation ashes jewellery, we require just 1 teaspoon of ashes. This ensures plenty is kept safely with you while allowing us enough to create your keepsake. You will receive an ashes collection kit to return to us.
